Professionally, I'm a seasoned data engineer who has been modernizing and transforming legacy insurance systems and building enterprise data platforms for a decade and a half.
I'm also deeply passionate about building useful open-source products for the world (I know it is ambitious, but what the heck—I don't have anything to lose). For the past three years, I've been unlearning, relearning, and building new projects from my mudroom in North Carolina. I started this website to share all the work I do outside of my professional life (a lot of it, at first, for my own learning); for now, I'll be focusing mainly on low-level system utilities along with other AI tools.
Off the keyboard, I'm a happy father of two, a friend, and a long-distance runner. Family and running keep me on a high :)
